Master, Teach Me How to Possess My Vessel
(Proverbs 25:4) Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
(2 Timothy 2:20-21) But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. (21) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Good Morning, and welcome to Roachdale Baptist Church! This morning’s post will be a little different than normal. Pastor Shannon’s daughter Becca was married yesterday and our pastor had no time to prepare a new audio sermon for this morning so we decided to include one from the vault. We hope this message will be a blessing to you as it already has been to so many! some might have already heard it but as with all sermons, we tend to forget some things we’ve learned and can always learn and grow more. Thank you for listening this morning, and God bless!
Hymns
In the audio clip we included the following songs. Please join us in singing Amazing Grace, Great is Thy Faithfulness, and Come Thou Fount!
